Almarie E. Donaldson

Dr. Almarie E. Donaldson serves as Associate Professor of Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University with over 20 years of global research and consulting expertise spanning corporate, NGO, government, and higher education sectors. Her strategic leadership acumen has driven impactful initiatives across Latin America and Asia through collaborations with USAID, World Learning, and major multinational organizations.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Regent University’s School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship

Research Interests: Dr. Donaldson pioneers research in cross-cultural leadership dynamics, developing evidence-based communication frameworks for women leaders in multicultural environments. Her work integrates visionary leadership theory with practical applications for youth entrepreneurship development and indigenous education initiatives, particularly through her fieldwork in Guatemala and Peru.

• Invited country principal investigator for the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness (GLOBE) project

Advising and Grants: As subject matter expert for USAID’s Higher Education for Economic Growth Activity (HEA), she advised Latin American education markets while leading CONAJU Peru’s Youth Development Program for young entrepreneurs. Her consultancy portfolio includes strategic leadership design for Bayer Guatemala, Pfizer, Abbott Central America, Copa Airlines, and Banco del Café Guatemala, alongside FUNDESA Guatemala’s "Educating the Indian Girl" initiative.
