Allison McKendrick is a Professor and Chair of Optometry Research at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and the Lions Eye Institute. She holds an honorary position as Professor at the University of Melbourne since 2022. Her research focuses on understanding vision processing in health and disease, particularly in glaucoma, migraine, and neuro-ophthalmic disorders. She has over 20 years of experience and employs advanced neuroimaging and electrophysiological techniques.
Education: BScOptom, MScOptom, PGCertOcTher, PhD. Her work addresses clinical translation of vision science, including developing improved diagnostic tools and assessing the impact of vision loss on daily life.
