Allison Chamberlain is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. She specializes in infectious disease epidemiology, public health preparedness, and vaccine promotion. Her current roles include co-PI of the Emory Center for Infectious Disease Modeling and Analytics Training Hub (CIDMATH), Director of the Rollins DrPH Program, and Director of Research and Practice Relations with the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Education: BA from University of Virginia, MS from Georgetown University, PhD from Emory University.
Research focuses on bridging academic and public health practice through initiatives like the Emory COVID-19 Response Collaborative (ECRC) and the Rollins Epidemiology Fellowship Program, which placed over 60 epidemiologists in Georgia health districts. She teaches EPI 564: Public Health Preparedness and Practice and advises the Emory Student Outbreak Response Team (SORT).
