Allie Capo Burdick is the Program Director of Athletic Counseling and Assistant Professor of Counseling at Springfield College, located within the School of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision (2024) from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2021) from Springfield College, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communication (1997) from Boston University. Her research focuses on barriers to parent-preteen sexual communication, healthy relationships, consent advocacy, feminism, and human rights.

She has received awards for social justice advocacy and counseling research. Capo Burdick is licensed as an LPC and NCC, and teaches courses such as Psychopathology, Clinical Mental Health Foundations, Counseling Skills Development, and Career Counseling. She coordinates practicum/internship programs and leads the non-profit Ellington Equality, promoting equity through advocacy and education.
