Professor Allan Lawrie is Chair of Pulmonary Vascular Diseases at the National Heart & Lung Institute, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. He previously served as Professor of Translational Cardiopulmonary Science at the University of Sheffield (2018–2022), where he established a translational research program in Pulmonary Hypertension and co-founded the Donald Heath Centre for Pulmonary Hypertension Research. His academic journey includes a BSc (Hons) from Edinburgh Napier University and a PhD from the University of Sheffield.
