Alla Adams

Dr. Alla Adams is an Associate Professor of Healthcare Administration at Park University (Austin Campus). She holds a combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Kiev Medical Institute (1991), a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Houston Baptist University (2000), and a Ph.D. in Human Services (Healthcare Administration) from Capella University (2006). She is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) (2016) and served as a Site Evaluator for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) (2021).

Her expertise spans regulatory compliance, financial analysis, grant budgeting, and cancer care clinical guidelines. At the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, she developed methodologies for separating fixed/variable administrative costs and optimizing managed care contracts. Her research focuses on cost separation methodologies, healthcare delivery systems, technology-driven workflow improvements, and data analysis in healthcare operations.

Professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) (Past-Chair of Student Membership Committee), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) (Member Development Committee), and Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). She has held leadership roles in the ACBSP Midwestern Region 5 Council and Member Relations Committee.
