Alix McCollam

Professor Alix McCollam is the SALI Professor of Quantum Technology at the University of College Cork (UCC), School of Physics. She specializes in studying novel quantum matter phases arising from strong electronic correlations and developing experimental techniques in thermodynamic and transport measurements. Prior to UCC, she held positions at Radboud University (Netherlands), the High Field Magnet Laboratory (HFML-FELIX), and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto and the Cavendish Laboratory (Cambridge, UK). Her career includes roles as a Marie Curie Fellow and faculty member at Radboud University.
