Dr. Alissa Mrazek is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. Her research focuses on self-regulation interventions, particularly for adolescents, aiming to improve attention, emotional regulation, and goal-directed behavior through scalable digital programs. She leads the Applied Psychology Research Lab, dedicated to translating scientific insights into practical interventions.
Education: PhD in Psychology from Northwestern University (2016), postdoctoral fellowship at UC Santa Barbara, and summa cum laude from Cornell University (2010).
