Matthew T. Tull is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toledo. He holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Boston (2005). His research focuses on emotion regulation mechanisms in PTSD, substance use disorders, and risky behaviors. Dr. Tull directs the Personality and Emotion Research and Treatment Laboratory.

Lab Activities:
Conducts translational research integrating behavioral experiments, neuroimaging, and clinical trials to develop emotion-focused interventions for trauma-related disorders. Current projects examine decision-making under stress and digital therapeutic applications for adolescent self-injury.
