Dr Alissa Cooper is a Lecturer in Equine Clinical Practice (Maternity Cover) at the University of Surrey's School of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a BSc in Animal Science from Cornell University (1995) and a BVetMed from the Royal Veterinary College (2002). Her career spans roles as a microbiologist in dairy testing, a practicing small animal and equine veterinarian, and academic roles including a Post Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Education (RVC, 2015). She joined the University of Surrey in 2015 as a Teaching Associate, advancing to her current position in 2022.
