Alison Mackie is a full-time Lecturer at the Dhaliwal-Reidy School of Accountancy, University of Arizona, where she joined in fall 2022 after 12 years of private sector experience. Her teaching responsibilities span undergraduate and graduate accounting courses including ACCT 210 (Introduction to Managerial Accounting), ACCT 310 (Cost and Managerial Accounting), ACCT 420/520 (Introduction to Federal Taxation), and ACCT 580 (Communication Skills for the Accounting Profession).

Her work bridges academic theory with real-world challenges encountered during her tenure at Deloitte, in oil and gas internal auditing, Navy budget operations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance at Raytheon.
