Alison Hansen is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Monash University. She serves as Deputy Director of Education (Quality) and specializes in forensic mental health nursing, particularly focusing on women in secure settings. Her PhD investigated seclusion practices and patient experiences in forensic hospitals. Alison teaches mental health nursing and ethics across pre- and post-registration programs, and supervises honours/master's students.
