Alison Donnelly Axtman

Alison Donnelly Axtman is a Research Assistant Professor at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, UNC-Chapel Hill, specializing in synthetic medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. She earned dual degrees in Chemistry and Spanish from Case Western Reserve University before completing her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Kansas in 2016. Her research focuses on structural biology and drug discovery for diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes.
