Alireza Daneshfar is an Associate Professor at the University of New Haven's Pompea College of Business, specializing in the Accounting, Taxation & Law Department. He has been affiliated with the university since 2001, teaching courses such as Current Topics in Financial Reporting, Advanced Accounting Theory, International Accounting, and Managerial Accounting across undergraduate, MBA, and executive programs. Prior academic appointments include Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa (1998-2000) and Lecturer at Concordia University (1996-1998).

His research spans international contexts, particularly examining Iranian IPOs and cross-country profit-sharing practices.
