Alicia Montgomery

Dr Alicia Montgomery is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney's Central Clinical School, part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She is affiliated with the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and Sydney Local Health District. Her academic role combines clinical practice as a developmental paediatrician with research focused on data-driven approaches to neurodevelopmental conditions and equitable healthcare models.

Dr Montgomery's research interests include transdiagnostic neurodevelopmental heterogeneity, implementation science in paediatric care, and improving access to neurodevelopmental health services. She has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles and garnered 700 citations since 2018.

She holds editorial roles for the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health and has secured grant funding, including $50k via Autism CRC as Chief Investigator and contributions to major grants such as NHMRC GNT1153419 ($2.4M) and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation ($200k).

Her professional service includes board roles with the Australian ADHD Professionals Association and affiliations with the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics.
