Alice Y Taylor is a Global Justice postdoctoral scholar at the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. She completed her Ph.D. in Education at the University of California, Berkeley with a designated emphasis in Gender & Women’s Studies (2016–2023). Her work bridges ethnography, sociological theory, and scholar-activism to analyze intersections of youth movements, anti-capitalism, feminism, and transnational solidarity.
- Key Collaborations: UC Berkeley Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS), Brazilian research groups NETS and Gepear, and organizations like UN-Habitat and Equimundo.
- Research Themes: Social movements, global justice, education reform, gender-based violence, and social norms. She focuses on hybrid (online/offline) activism, anti-racist education, and youth-led democratization of public spaces.

Her community-engaged work spans Brazil, the U.S., and Africa, with a focus on qualitative research and social justice.
