Alice Willatt

Alice Willatt is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, leading interdisciplinary studies on social justice through participatory methodologies. Her current work centers on the UKRI Frontier Research-funded project REPAIR-ED (2023-2028), which investigates structural inequities in Bristol primary schools using ethnographic and oral-history approaches to advance reparative justice frameworks in education.

Her research integrates feminist theory-praxis with critical pedagogies to examine:

• Transformative potential of informal learning in marginalized communities
• Co-designed interventions for challenging systemic inequalities
• Intersectional analysis of care practices across lifecourses
• Participatory action research with civil society organizations

She maintains active collaborations with policymakers, schools, and public sector bodies to translate research into equity-focused interventions.
