Dr. Alice Wickersham is a Research Fellow in the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at King’s College London, part of the CAMHS Digital Lab team. She holds a PhD from King’s College London (2022) and MSc/BSc degrees from University College London. Her research focuses on epidemiological methods and data linkage to explore intersections between child/adolescent mental health, education, and criminal justice.
Key projects include an ESRC-funded fellowship analyzing educational trajectories and criminal justice involvement using Ministry of Justice/Department for Education data. She has contributed to over 35 peer-reviewed publications, with recent work on maternal influence on adolescent mental health (2025), digital health innovations in CAMHS (2025), and meta-analyses on pandemic impacts on youth mental health (2025).
Dr. Wickersham’s work addresses healthcare data quality (e.g., ethnicity recording disparities, 2024) and develops translational models for integrating digital tools into mental health services. She leads the NIHR Development and Skills Enhancement Award (2025-2027) and collaborates internationally with institutions like the Anna Freud National Centre.
