Alice Vernon is a Lecturer in Nineteenth-Century Literature and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University's Department of English & Creative Writing. Her research at the intersection of storytelling and the history of medicine explores sleep disorders, hallucinations, and parapsychology through narrative non-fiction and literary analysis.
