Dr. Alice De Jonge is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Law & Taxation at Monash University. Her research focuses on data governance, AI regulation, China's social credit system, and corporate governance in Asia. She holds an SJD in Corporate Governance and China's H-share market from the University of Melbourne (2008).
Her expertise spans international law, comparative legal systems, and governance challenges in Asia. Notable achievements include the 1998 LawAsia Research Award and the 2008 Dean's Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. De Jonge has designed postgraduate programs in Asian business law and advised international organizations like the American Bar Association's Central and East European Law Initiative.
Recent research highlights include examining ASEAN's Smart Cities Network governance, gender diversity in corporate boards across China and India, and legal frameworks for intersex rights in Australia.
