Ali Saber is a Tutor at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) within the University of Sussex Business School. He holds a PhD in Technology & Innovation Management and specializes in Sovereign Wealth Funds, particularly their role in post-pandemic economic landscapes and UK-based strategies. His research advocates for the creation of a British Sovereign Wealth Fund to enhance FDI in technology sectors. Saber is also a qualified lecturer, teaching Entrepreneurship and Finance to undergraduates and postgraduates.

Research Interests: Saber explores Sovereign Wealth Funds as tools of State Capitalism, with current work examining their applicability in African contexts. His thesis (2024) analyzes post-pandemic UK perspectives on these funds.
Teaching & Supervision: Saber oversees the undergraduate module 'Entrepreneurship Finance and Accounting' (N1583) and the postgraduate module 'Entrepreneurship Finance' (731N1). He has also served as a guest lecturer in both programs.
