Ali Moradi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at the University of Kentucky's Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering. Previously, he held roles at Laval University (Canada) and the University of Alberta. Moradi earned his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2018, following earlier degrees from Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran.
