Alfredo Iacoangeli

Dr. Alfredo Iacoangeli is a Reader in Bioinformatics at King’s College London, leading a joint research programme between the Department of Basic & Clinical Neuroscience and the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. His work focuses on computational approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer’s disease. He earned his PhD in Life Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome in 2016, specializing in structural bioinformatics.
