Alfonso Torres-Rua

Alfonso Torres-Rua is an Associate Professor at Utah State University's College of Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, and Chief Scientist of the AggieAir Drone Program. He conducts advanced research integrating remote sensing, machine learning, and drone technology for irrigation water management across diverse crops and regions.

• Research Focus: Evapotranspiration modeling, precision agriculture, UAV-based data collection, thermal imagery analysis, and water stress indices.
