Dr. Anish Sapkota serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Land Resources and Environmental Sciences within Montana State University's College of Agriculture. His research integrates precision agriculture technologies with soil and water sciences to develop sustainable crop production solutions through on-farm experimentation and data-driven modeling.
His educational background includes:
- Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences, University of California, Riverside (2022)
- M.S. in Animal and Range Sciences, Montana State University (2018)
Research focuses on Agricultural Water Management, Precision Agriculture, and Remote Sensing applications, with emphasis on drone technology, evapotranspiration modeling, and site-specific irrigation systems.
