Alexis Berne

Alexis Berne serves as an Associate Professor at the Environmental Remote Sensing Laboratory of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), focusing on climate-related environmental hazards and remote sensing applications.

His research spans critical areas in environmental monitoring:

• Advanced remote sensing techniques for environmental observation
• Urban climate risk assessment with emphasis on pluvial flooding
