Alexis Barina, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in palliative care, communication in intensive care units, and patient/family communication regarding heated high-flow nasal cannula. She is affiliated with the Division of General Internal Medicine and has been part of the faculty since 2017.
