Alexandru V. Roman, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Maine’s Maine Business School. He holds dual Ph.D.s in Strategy and Organizations (2020, UC Riverside) and Public Administration (2013, Florida Atlantic University), alongside an MBA in Accounting/Finance and an MA in Economics. His research focuses on human capital resource choices, organizational aspirations, and their impact on firm behavior. He has extensive industry and consulting experience.
Research Interests: Strategic Management, Human Capital Dynamics, Firm Behavior, Public Policy Interactions. His work explores how executives’ social backgrounds influence corporate governance and how public policies shape operational strategies.
