Monica Masucci is an Affiliate Professor of Innovation at SDA Bocconi School of Management and a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sussex Business School. She serves as Head of Pre-Acceleration at Bocconi for Innovation, leading a training program for aspiring entrepreneurs since 2020. Additionally, she contributes to the development of custom educational programs for large corporates at SDA Bocconi.

Professor Masucci's research focuses on corporate entrepreneurship and innovation, industry architecture and ecosystem dynamics, open innovation, and the creative economy. She also investigates the dynamics of creative clusters and the impact of skill combinations on firm performance.
Her publications span leading journals such as Research Policy, Technovation, and Small Business Economics, reflecting a strong emphasis on innovation management, entrepreneurship, and the creative industries. Recent work addresses topics including entrepreneurial universities, creative clusters, and corporate venturing.

She serves as editor in chief of the Journal of Engineering and Technology Management and is a member of the Policy and Evidence Centre for the Creative Industries in the UK.
She leads the Pre-Acceleration program at Bocconi for Innovation, fostering entrepreneurship among aspiring founders, and collaborates with large corporates on custom executive education.
