Alexandru-Nicolae Dimache

Univ. Assoc. Dr. Eng. Alexandru-Nicolae Dimache serves as Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Hydrotechnics at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest since 2016, affiliated with the Department of Hydraulics, Urban Planning and Environmental Protection.

His work spans EU projects like FP7-ENV-2010.3.1.5-2 and national initiatives including POSCEE and CEEX, focusing on groundwater management and aquifer remediation.

A certified main-level environmental expert (since 2022) and member of the Romanian Environmental Association (ARM) since 1998, he directs technical assistance for the Ministry of Environment on ISPA/POS Environment/POIM projects, developing critical strategies for sludge management, water loss reduction, and industrial wastewater treatment.
