Alexandria Deaton

Dr. Alexandria Deaton serves as an Adjunct Professor and Instructional Designer at the University of the Cumberlands' Department of Education. She functions as a critical liaison between the university and local school districts while delivering teacher training in classroom strategies and educational technology at national conferences.

Her expertise centers on practical teacher development, with core interests spanning Education, Teacher Training, and Educational Technology. Her background as a middle school math teacher in Laurel County informs her focus on engaging pedagogical methods, notably demonstrated through her International PIMSER conference training on classroom strategies.

Dr. Deaton actively supports campus initiatives as co-sponsor of the Education Club, which organizes community outreach programs. Previously, she contributed to school improvement through PBIS committee work fostering student citizenship. Her operational base is the Luecker Building (Room 116) in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where she resides with her family.
