Dr. Alexandre Rodrigues is a Senior Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee at Knoxville. With a PhD in Operations Sourcing and Logistics from Michigan State University and over two decades of academic and professional experience, his career spans roles at Michigan State University, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPEAD), and European Business School (Wiesbaden). His work focuses on supply chain disruptions, logistics in crisis situations, and global supply chain risk assessment.

Recent articles highlight his development of risk assessment tools and frameworks for managing supply chain disruptions. He has authored 29 scholarly works including journal articles, conference papers, and reports, with a focus on global supply chain risk, logistics performance, and sustainability.
