Alexandre Leupin, Phyllis M. Taylor Professor in French Studies and Director of the Center for French and Francophone Studies at Louisiana State University, is a pioneering scholar in medieval literature, psychoanalysis, and postcolonial thought. His academic journey began with a PhD from the University of Geneva (1981), and he has held teaching roles at LSU since 1983.
