Michael Syrotinski is a Professor of French at the University of Glasgow, holding the Marshall Professorship since 2012. Previously, he served as Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Aberdeen (2003-2011), achieving the Carnegie Professorship in 2010, and held roles including Reader, Lecturer, and Assistant Professor at various institutions. He is a Senior Fellow of the Academy of Europe in the Literary & Theatrical Studies section.
