Alexandre Gramfort is a Senior Researcher at Inria, with affiliations at multiple university centers including Université Côte d'Azur, University of Bordeaux, and Inria Saclay. He leads the GraphDeco project team and has been actively involved in various research teams such as Parietal, Athena, and Epione since 2007.
His research focuses on integrating machine learning and neuroscience to advance brain signal interpretation. Key interests include signal processing, statistical analysis of neural data, and computational neuroscience.
Gramfort has made significant contributions through his work on electrophysiological signal processing, supported by the ERC Starting Grant in 2015 for the Signal processing and Learning Applied to Brain data (SLAB) project.
He has been recognized with prestigious awards, including ACM Fellow (2016) and ERC Starting Grant (2015).
Over the years, he has been affiliated with several Inria project teams, including GraphDeco, Parietal, Athena, and Epione, contributing to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of data science and neuroscience.
