معرفی
Pierre Lairez is a Researcher at Inria Saclay and a teacher at École polytechnique in its Computer Science Department. He leads the MATHEXP team and the ERC Starting Grant project 10000 DIGITS (2022–2027), focusing on transcendental methods in computational nonlinear algebra for high-precision integrals and their applications.
- Education: PhD in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo (2023), advised by Éric Schost; Postdoctoral fellow at Université Paris-Saclay (Inria, MATHEXP) until 2023.
His research bridges computer algebra, algebraic geometry, and experimental mathematics, with applications in diophantine approximation, quantum field theory, and optimization. Key methodologies include symbolic integration, D-module theory, and numerical algebraic geometry.
Notably, his work involves computing periods of algebraic varieties, developing algorithms for monodromy, and studying Feynman integrals. The 10000 DIGITS project (funded with €1.4M) explores these topics.
