معرفی
Alexandre Germanos is a Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at Lund University Cancer Centre (LUCC) and StemTherapy: National Initiative on Stem Cells for Regenerative Therapy, affiliated with Lund University's Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on RNA biology, stem cells, and cancer mechanisms.
- Primary Affiliations:
- Lund University Cancer Centre (LUCC)
- StemTherapy: National Initiative on Stem Cells for Regenerative Therapy
Research Interests: Alexandre investigates tRNA-derived small RNAs, retrotransposon regulation, and their roles in stem cell biology and leukemia pathogenesis. His work explores RNA fragmentation mechanisms, epitranscriptomic networks, and RNA granule dynamics.
Publications (2025): His recent work includes studies on PUS10-induced tRNA fragmentation effects on inflammation, leukemia progression via P-body dysregulation, and functional roles of small RNAs in stem cells.
- Current Projects:
- MYC-Driven Epitranscriptomic Networks in Pediatric Burkitt Lymphoma (Principal Investigator)
- PUS7 Regulatory Networks in Lymphocyte Development and Malignancy (Principal Investigator)
Collaborations: Alexandre collaborates with researchers across Sweden and internationally, including teams at European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) and the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund.
