Alexandra Schneider

Dr. Alexandra Schneider is Deputy Director of the Institute of Epidemiology at Helmholtz Munich, leading the Research Group 'Environmental Risks' since 2010. Her work explores the intersection of environmental factors and human health, particularly focusing on

• Urban green/blue spaces
• Cardiovascular diseases

She is a Senior Scientist with a background in both Meteorology and Public Health, and holds leadership roles in the German National Cohort (NAKO) and international consortia.
