Alexandra Savova En

Prof. Alexandra Savova En is a Professor at the Department of Organisation and Economics of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of Sofia. She graduated from the same faculty in 1996 and has been affiliated with the department since 2010. Her expertise includes pharmaceutical economics, drug regulation, and health technology assessment.

She teaches courses in medical devices, social pharmacy, and pharmaceutical marketing in both Bulgarian and English. Prof. Savova is a member of the National Council on Prices and Reimbursement of Medicinal Products and has contributed to drug policy development.

Her research focuses on pharmaceutical economics, with over 90 peer-reviewed publications and 8 textbooks. She has led multiple national and international projects funded by Bulgarian ministries and EU programs.

Prof. Savova advises master’s and PhD students and collaborates with institutions on projects related to healthcare economics and policy.
