Manoela Manova En

Prof. Manoela Manova En is a Professor at the Department of Organisation and Economics of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of Sofia. She graduated from the same faculty in 2004 and has been affiliated with the department since 2009. Her roles include teaching lectures, practical sessions, and seminars in subjects like medical devices, social pharmacy, and pharmacoeconomics. She also supervises Master’s and PhD theses, conducting her work in both Bulgarian and English.

Her research focuses on drug regulation, pharmaceutical economics, health technology assessment, and pricing policies. She has authored/co-authored over 90 scientific papers and 8 textbooks, with significant citations in peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Manova leads or participates in multiple research projects funded by national and European grants. She is a member of the National Council on Prices and Reimbursement of Medicinal Products.

Prof. Manova has led 7 projects funded by the Medical University of Sofia and the Ministry of Science and Education, and contributed to two European-funded international projects. Her expertise spans policy analysis, pharmaceutical market dynamics, and healthcare economics.
