Alexandra Pugh

Alexandra Pugh is a Lecturer at the London School of Economics, specializing in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and French Studies. Her doctoral research from King’s College London analyzed queer-feminist aesthetics in Virginie Despentes' works.

Research examines intersections of gender, sexuality, and national identity in contemporary French culture, with publications in journals including Paragraph and College Literature. Current projects explore abortion representation in French cinema and feminist epistemology during crises.
