Alexandra M. C. Carolan

Alexandra Carolan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a graduate of Wartburg College and the University of Minnesota Medical School, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. Her clinical and surgical training includes a urology residency at Mayo Clinic and a fellowship in pediatric urology at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wartburg College, medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School.
• Training: Urology residency at Mayo Clinic, Pediatric Urology fellowship at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health.
• Roles: Former chief resident during her residency at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Carolan’s research interests are aligned with her expertise in urology and pediatric urology, focusing on surgical outcomes and pediatric urological care. She is affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center and its clinical partner, Children’s Health, in Dallas, Texas.
