Alexandra Kokoli is Interim Director of Programmes for Fine Art at Middlesex University's School of Arts. Her teaching encompasses visual culture theory, contemporary art practice, and research methods across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Research explores intersections of feminism, activism, and visual culture, with specializations in anti-nuclear protest art, feminist textiles, and heritage practices.
Current projects include Leverhulme-funded research on Greenham Common's visual activism and British Academy-supported writing workshops for practice-based researchers. Publications analyze feminist aesthetics in protest contexts, material culture, and curatorial practices. Recent curatorial work examines domestic labor and feminist survival strategies.
Grants include Paul Mellon Centre Mid-Career Fellowship (2019) and Leverhulme Research Fellowship (2020). She serves as Visiting Professor at the University of Kragujevac developing doctoral programs in mathematical history education.
