Dr. Ana Baeza Ruiz is Lecturer in Museology at the University of Manchester, specializing in feminist art histories, museum studies, and cultural participation. Her research intersects feminism, visual culture, and institutional practices, examining debates on cultural democratization in 20th-century art museums and contemporary participatory models. She co-leads the Feminist Art Making Histories project documenting UK feminist art practices from the 1970s-present and was a postdoctoral fellow at Museo Nacional del Prado (2022-2024), developing public engagement initiatives.
