Dr. Alexandra Budjanovcanin is a Professor in Work Psychology and Public Sector Management at King's Business School, King's College London. She holds dual roles as Programme Director for Professional and Executive Education and Deputy Director of the Public Policy and Management MSc. Her research focuses on leadership dynamics, particularly in hybrid roles spanning virtual and physical domains, and the psychological aspects of career choices, including occupational regret. She has designed leadership modules for executive audiences and contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Her work spans public and private sectors, with collaborations involving organizations like the NHS, Church of England, and Royal Pharmaceutical Society. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has secured research funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), British Academy, and Leverhulme Trust. Her executive education expertise includes certified Emotional Intelligence coaching and leadership development.
Education: PhD from King's College London. Prior roles include Senior Research Associate at the NIHR Patient Safety and Service Quality Research Centre, investigating NHS workforce issues.
