Alexander Zollner is a part-time Researcher at the Chair of Technology Didactics within the School of Social Sciences and Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), concurrently serving as a teacher at Munich's municipal vocational school for plumbing, environmental, and utility engineering since 2022.
His academic and professional foundation includes:
- Dual vocational training as a mechatronics technician with university entrance qualification (2009-2012) at BMW AG Regensburg
- Dual Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering with development/design focus (2012-2016) at EDAG Production Solutions
- Master of Vocational Education Integrated specializing in metal technology and mathematics (2016-2019) at TUM
His research concentrates on modernizing vocational pedagogy through:
- Competency-based learning field curricula implementation in dual training systems
- Integration of interdisciplinary skills in technical education frameworks
