Alexander Tagesson is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Philosophy, Lund University, affiliated with the Cognitive Science division and the LU Profile Area: Natural and Artificial Cognition. His work bridges cognitive science and philosophy, with a focus on empathy and its applications in artificial intelligence and refugee decision-making processes.
- Contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas of peace, justice, and strong institutions.
- Active in the Cognitive Philosophy Research Group (CogPhi) and the Agenda 2030 Graduate School at Lund University.
His research explores artificial empathy, refugee psychology, and migration ethics, with recent publications in Frontiers in Psychology and Robophilosophy 2024.
