Alexander Reece Loescher Quinlan is a Tutor in Sociology at the School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh, and a PhD candidate in Sociology (2023–ongoing). His research explores the erosion of collective identity in sociocultural groups through the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, intersecting social power, group boundaries, and cultural dynamics.
