Alexander Norquist

Alexander Norquist is a Professor of Chemistry at Haverford College, specializing in the study of organically templated inorganic materials. He holds a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College and M.S./Ph.D. from Northwestern University, where his doctoral work focused on early transition metal oxide fluoride anions under Kenneth R. Poeppelmeier. After postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford, he joined Haverford in 2003, teaching general chemistry, advanced laboratory courses, and special topics.
