Alexander Nitschke

Dr. Alexander Nitschke is a Researcher at the Institute of Banking within the School of Business and Economics at the University of Münster. He holds a B.Sc. (2014-2018) and M.Sc. (2018-2021) in Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, respectively. Since 2021, he has been actively involved in research and teaching at the Institute of Banking.

His research focuses on financial intermediation, credit risk management, liquidity management, and banking systems. Notable work includes a 2022 project report analyzing asset-based instruments for credit risk, equity, and liquidity management.

In teaching, he instructs courses such as Financial Intermediation I (English) and Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre (German), alongside supervising PhD students in methodological seminars. He also leads the Research Seminar Finance: Green Banking to explore sustainable financial practices.
